Position Summary

The Assistant Vice President for Development (AVP) is a senior leadership position responsible for the strategic execution of Harvey Mudd College’s major and principal giving programs. The AVP serves as the primary architect of the frontline fundraising operation, providing inspirational leadership and modeling the way for a team of five philanthropic advisors. Together, they secure the resources necessary to advance the Strategic Plan of Harvey Mudd College and meet ambitious campaign objectives. This role requires a leader who can balance sophisticated organizational management with an active, personal commitment to high-level donor participation and outreach.
