Position Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Manager / AVP – Head of BANCS Delivery to lead and govern the delivery of the TCS BANCS Insurance platform within our organization. The ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of TCS BANCS General Insurance product architecture, be technically strong with JAVA full stack & Microservices and have a demonstrated track record in complete PAS (Policy Admin System) transformation programs.
This is a senior leadership role requiring strong stakeholder management, vendor governance, delivery ownership, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Program Leadership
- End-to-end ownership of delivery of TCS BANCS Insurance product implementations and transformations
- Govern the full lifecycle of PAS implementation — requirements, solutioning, development, SIT/UAT, deployment & post-production stabilization
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of BANCS consultants, solution architects, and developers
- Monitor scope, budgets, risks, dependencies, timelines, project plans, SLAs and KPIs
Solution & Architecture
- Drive solution design ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices of the BANCS product
- Deep working knowledge of TCS BANCS internal architecture, integrations, data model & configuration frameworks
- Provide technical leadership across JAVA Full stack embedded within BANCS implementations
- Collaborate with enterprise architects for scalable target-state architecture
Stakeholder & Vendor Governance
- Act as the primary contact for TCS / vendor partners for program planning and delivery
- Partner closely with Business, Operations, Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, Digital, and Data teams
- Ensure governance on requirements tracking, scope change, and risk mitigation
- Head steering committees and senior leadership updates, reporting progress and decisions
Operational Excellence
- Strengthen delivery maturity through standardization, reusable assets, documentation, traceability, and continuous improvement
- Ensure platform stability, performance, security, and compliance with audit/governance mandates
