Job Summary

We are looking for a part‑time Assistant Wheelchair Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. The role is based at the Independent Living Centre, Cheltenham, and involves a mix of clinic, home and educational assessments across Gloucestershire. Working hours are 22.5 per week.

Main Duties

• Carry your own caseload of low to medium need wheelchair and accessory assessments.
• Hand over equipment assessed by the therapy and rehab engineering team.
• Use hand and power tools to adjust and fit mobility equipment.
• Provide assessments in a range of settings – clinic, home and educational environments.
• Support patients of all ages and disabilities, keeping the patient at the centre of all services.
• Maintain a full UK driving licence and have access to a car, including driving service vans...
