Job Description
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Computer Security at the Assistant, or Associate Professor level. We are seeking a highly qualified scholar with a strong record of research excellence and effective teaching in any area of computer security, including (but not limited to): network security, systems security, cryptography, software security, cloud and distributed security, cybersecurity engineering, and emerging security technologies.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
? Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer security and related areas.
? Maintain a strong, ongoing research program leading to high-quality publications.
? Supervise student research and contribute to the development of academic programs.
? Participate actively in departmental, school, and university service.
? Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration within and beyond the department.
Qualifications:
? A PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field.
? A demonstrated track record of scholarly research in computer security.
? Evidence of excellence in teaching and commitment to high-quality education.
? Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
? Industry experience or applied research involvement is considered an asset.
Additional Information:
