Job Description

We’re looking for a talented Associate Accountant with 2–3 years of experience who can support financial operations, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination across SA & SSA markets. Immediate joiners preferred!


Responsibilities:

  • Understand market strategy, industry trends, and customer needs across Southern Africa (SA) and Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).
  • Set up and document operational processes for fund/budget management.
  • Facilitate periodic management committee meetings.
  • Coordinate fieldwork and stakeholder engagement including project planning, workshops, and interviews.
  • Manage financial and contract aspects with support from the Project Management Unit.
  • Validate fund/budget requests as per governance protocols.
  • Ensure success of Cross Border Services in EEMEA within the FI segment.
  • Ensure compliance of fund payments with applicable norms and rules.
  • Support stakeholders in planning, opportunity identification, and solutioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to allocate fund support based on opportunity prioritization.
  • Build and maintain value-centered relationships with key fund stakeholders



Key Skills:

• Strong verbal & written communication

• Advanced Excel (analysis, budgeting, tracking)

• PowerPoint expertise (stakeholder presentations)
