Associate, Cloud & Workplace Technology 

New Delhi, India | Hybrid 

 

Position Overview 

The Associate, Cloud and Workspace Technology plays a critical role in enabling secure, reliable, and scalable digital workspaces across the organization. This position supports cloud and digital transformation initiatives through hands-on administration of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Intune, ensuring that collaboration, identity, and device management platforms operate efficiently and in alignment with organizational standards. 

 

The role contributes to strengthening cloud governance, security, and operational reliability, while also supporting small-scale AI pilots leveraging Azure Cognitive Services and automation tools. By combining strong technical execution with documentation, monitoring, and continuous improvement, the Associate helps modernize digital workflows and improve the day-to-day technology experience for staff globally. 

 

This position reports to the Senior Director, Global Technology. 

 

Responsibilities 

Microsoft 365 & Collaboration Services 

  • Administer, configure, and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, and Security & Compliance Center. 

  • Implement and maintain M365 governance frameworks covering information lifecycle management, access structures, site provisioning, archival, and naming conventions. 

  • Manage M365 licensing, configuration baselines, adoption metrics, and user provisioning workflows. 

  • Provide Level 2/3 technical support for cloud and collaboration platforms, ensuring timely incident resolution and service continuity. 

 

AI & Automation Platform Support 

  • Support pilot initiatives using Azure Cognitive Services, including document intelligence, language services, and workflow automation. 

  • Assist in establishing monitoring and controls for responsible AI usage, aligned with organizational governance, security, and ethical guidelines. 

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of cloud-based AI components (models, pipelines, data flows) and their integration into business processes. 

  

Azure Cloud Administration & Governance 

  • Implement and maintain Azure governance standards, including resource organization, role-based access control (RBAC), cost management, tagging standards, monitoring, and security baselines. 

  • Administer Azure subscriptions, resource groups, virtual machines, storage accounts, networking components, and identity integrations. 

  • Monitor compliance with global cloud architecture standards, security policies, and audit requirements. 

  • Track and optimize Azure performance, availability, and costs using dashboards, alerts, and operational metrics. 

 

Digital Workspace & Endpoint Modernization 

  • Implement modern device and endpoint management using Microsoft Intune. 

  • Enforce security baselines, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and conditional access controls. 

  • Deploy applications, updates, and patches through Intune to strengthen endpoint security and reliability. 

  • Support Zero Trust access by ensuring only compliant, managed devices connect to organizational resources. 

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to modernize manual processes through low-code tools, AI-enabled workflows, and automation. 

  • Improve collaboration experiences, content integrity, and overall digital workspace reliability. 

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, SOPs, configuration logs, and governance guidelines. 

  • Continuously optimize systems through monitoring, analytics, automation, and proactive maintenance. 

 

Qualifications 

Required 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

  • 3–5 years of experience in cloud administration, Microsoft 365 end-to-end administration, or similar technical roles. 

  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, and identity management, in an enterprise or multi-user environment. 

  • Good understanding of cloud governance and security practices, including role-based access control (RBAC), cost tracking, tagging standards, compliance monitoring, and basic audit support within Azure and Microsoft 365. 

  • Experience with modern endpoint and device management using Microsoft Intune, including enforcing security baselines, compliance policies, application deployment, patching, and conditional access. 

  • Experience supporting collaboration and digital workplace platforms, ensuring system availability, performance, and a smooth end-user experience through effective configuration, monitoring, and issue resolution. 

 

  • Working knowledge of cloud-based AI and automation tools, including Azure Cognitive Services, Power Platform, or similar services, with exposure to supporting pilot or proof-of-concept initiatives. 

  • Ability to provide Level 2/3 technical support, diagnose and resolve cloud, device, and collaboration platform issues, and meet defined SLAs. 

  • Strong documentation skills, including preparation of SOPs, runbooks, configuration documents, and basic architecture diagrams. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and continuously improve systems using monitoring, reporting, automation, and low-code tools to modernize digital workflows. 

 

Preferred 

  • Exposure to additional cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
