Monks is looking for a well‑rounded, experienced Associate Creative Director with an art direction background. This is a hands‑on role where you will lead projects, develop concepts, and win pitches. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in art direction and design, with proven experience in leading, guiding, and mentoring creative teams.

What You’ll Do:

• Creative Leadership & Concepting: Conceive and execute concepts, guidelines, and strategies for a wide range of creative projects. Own the process from brief to delivery.
• Team Management & Mentorship: Lead and motivate a team of art directors, illustrators, copywriters, and other creatives. Provide feedback and foster growth.
• Pitching & Client Relations: Lead brainstorming sessions, develop presentations, and pitch confidently to clients. Serve as a key creative partner, translating business needs into creative roadmaps.
• Project Execution: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring final work exceeds expectations, is strategically sound, and delivered on time.
• Digital & Social Expertise: Apply knowledge of social media best practices, user behavior, and platform innovation to create impactful campaigns.

Who We’re Looking For (Requirements):

• Experience: 4‑6 years of professional creative experience in an advertising or production agency, with at least 2 years in a high‑level or lead role managing creative teams.
• Background: Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in art direction; animation experience a major plus.
• Leadership: Ability to empower teams, give clear direction, and inspire with humility.
• Strategic & Presentation Skills: Translate complex client briefs into clear creative strategies. Skilled at designing decks, structuring presentations, and pitching.
• AI Integration: Interest in new technologies and practical understanding of integrating AI tools into the creative process.
• Communication: Advanced fluency in English (written & oral). Experience leading international, English‑speaking environments.
• Collaborative Spirit: Thrive in a global team, collaborate across time zones, maintain a positive attitude.
