About the Role

We’re looking for a design leader who thinks like a growth marketer and executes like a world-class creative. As Associate Creative Director – Design (Growth & Performance), you’ll own how our brand and products convert, scale, and sustain attention across the growth funnel.

This role sits at the intersection of fitness culture, consumer insight, and growth metrics. You’ll lead the visual direction for high-impact growth initiatives - from performance ads and CRM journeys to app, web, and retail moments that move users from awareness to action.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can build systems, run experiments, and push creative output at speed, without compromising on taste or brand sharpness.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own design strategy and execution across growth and performance channels - paid media, CRM, app, web, franchise, and in-center.
  • Lead creative development for high-converting growth campaigns, balancing brand storytelling with measurable outcomes like CTR, CVR, retention, and acquisition.
  • Translate growth briefs, hypotheses, and data insights into clear creative directions and testable design frameworks.
  • Partner closely with growth, performance marketing, CRM, product, and category teams to conceptualize and ship integrated campaigns.
  • Build and manage a high-velocity creative pipeline - where speed, iteration, and scale are critical.
  • Guide designers to produce multiple creative routes, variations, and optimizations for ongoing experiments and A/B tests.
  • Develop modular, scalable design systems for growth - templates, visual codes, and motion rules that enable fast execution.
  • Lead campaign shoots, product launches, and content creation with a performance-first creative lens.
  • Continuously optimize creatives based on data, platform learnings, and audience behavior across Meta, Google, and marketplaces.
  • Stay ahead of design, motion, and content trends relevant to fitness, e-commerce, and growth marketing, raising the creative bar in the category.


What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in design, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role within a high-growth brand, D2C, or agency.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing growth, performance, and digital-first work - experience in fitness, lifestyle, fashion, or services is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of design for conversion across ads, landing pages, CRM, app, and social.
  • Proven ability to balance brand ambition with data-driven execution.
  • Comfortable working with metrics, insights, and learnings to inform creative decisions.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; motion design (After Effects or similar) is a strong plus.
  • Strong people leadership - experience mentoring designers, setting quality benchmarks, and driving output under tight timelines.
  • High taste level, strong opinions, and the ability to clearly articulate creative rationale to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset with the confidence to lead creative conversations with growth, product, and marketing teams.
