We are looking for an Associate Data Center Technician (Level 1) to join our Las Vegas team. This role will be responsible for executing foundational data center operations with precision and reliability, supporting infrastructure availability while building technical proficiency across hardware, systems, and facilities disciplines.
What you will be doing:
Operational Execution
Execute break/fix tickets, project cards, and decommission tasks following established DCT procedures and work instructionsPerform rack installations following build guides including mounting equipment, cable routing, and proper labeling standardsConduct inventory audits and maintain accurate asset records in management systemsRespond to on-shift incidents under supervision, performing basic troubleshooting and escalating appropriatelyTechnical Foundations
Install base macOS following documented proceduresUnderstand basic networking concepts: IP addressing, subnetting, gateway configuration, and connectivity testingPerform cable terminations using appropriate hand toolsVerify physical layer connectivity and document installation workQuality & Safety
Follow all safety protocols and site-specific proceduresWork with senior technicians for quality control reviewsMaintain organized work areas and proper tool managementParticipate in team training and knowledge-sharing sessionsPhysical demands and requirements:
The position operates in a data center environment and physical requirements include but are not limited to: Must be able to safely use a ladderMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a timeRequire the use of hands to fingersFrequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbingMust be able to distinguish different colorsRequire use of tools such as screwdriversWhat skills and experience you need to have: 0-2 years in data center, IT infrastructure, or related technical fieldBasic understanding of server hardware, networking equipment, and cabling standardsProficient with Microsoft Office suite and ticketing systemsAttention to detail and ability to follow technical documentationEffective time management and ability to work both independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and on-call rotationWhat you will get: Day one benefits.
