Associate Director – AI Security Architecture 100%

In this role , you will shape and drive the organization’s AI security architecture, ensuring robust protection for data, models, and platforms across the enterprise. This position combines strategic direction-setting with hands‑on architectural leadership, influencing AI security standards and frameworks. Working closely with technical and business teams, you’ll embed security best practices throughout the AI lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI architecture initiatives within a designated business or technology domain and manage solution design for projects and programs
• Define and implement AI security standards, frameworks, and best practices for safeguarding AI models, datasets, and pipelines
• Develop logical architecture and strategic approaches to secure AI infrastructure and systems
• Apply architectural patterns to ensure effective and secure use of AI‑related technology platforms
• Establish and evolve the Architecture Governance Framework for AI, including standards, methods, and practices
• Promote and communicate architectural strategies across technical and business communities to ensure adoption and alignment
• Identify vulnerabilities across the AI landscape, evaluate potential risks, and stay current with emerging AI security threats and trends
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and data science teams to integrate security controls into the AI development lifecycle
• Provide guidance and support for secure AI model deployment and operations, including monitoring for threats and safeguarding training data
• Report regularly to senior stakeholders on AI security posture, initiatives, and risk mitigation activities

Candidate Profile

• University degree or equivalent experience in a business or technical discipline
• 15+ years of professional experience in Security, including at least 5 years in an architectural role
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in AI Security, with knowledge of tools such as Cranium, Noma, JFrog X‑Ray, HiddenLayer, or Darktrace
• Proven expertise in defining and implementing AI security policies, standards, and architecture patterns
• Strong understanding of AI security risks, threat modeling, and mitigation strategies for AI/ML applications
• Experience designing and evaluating AI solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Skilled in communicating complex security concepts to senior management and non‑technical stakeholders
• Track record of leading cross‑functional projects in global, multi‑vendor environments
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a delivery‑focused and detail‑oriented mindset
