REQUIREMENT:

  • We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in the Energy & Utilities domain and a strong understanding of modern technology platforms, tools, and architectures. This role acts as a critical bridge between client business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring industry-specific needs are translated into scalable, future-ready digital solutions. Positioned at the intersection of pre-sales, consulting, and solutioning, you will play a key role in responding to client opportunities by crafting compelling solutions that blend industry depth with digital expertise.
  • With 8+ years as a Business Analyst in Energy & Utilities sector (Power, Water, Waste, Gas,
  • Proven experience in pre-sales, bid management, or pursuit support in consulting or IT services.
  • Strong consultative skills: ability to abstract client problems, propose solutions, and communicate effectively.
  • Good understanding of SDLC, delivery models, and team structures across fixed bid, T&M, Agile, and hybrid engagements.
  • Familiarity with platforms like SAP IS-U, Oracle Utilities, Salesforce Energy Cloud, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams and international clients.
  • Expertise in crafting original, engaging, and well-structured content for proposals, presentations, and solution documents.
  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholders, timelines, and quality across multiple bids.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and basic layout/design for client-facing content.
  • High attention to detail in writing, formatting, and presentation.
  • RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gathering business and functional requirements 
  • Developing requirements documents: goal model, functional modelling, business process, customer interactions/wire frames; writing high level user requirements (Epics and User Stories) 
  • Maintaining and enhancing the current available frameworks and accelerators 
  • Interacting with other Center of Competence (CoE) architects and teams, and providing solutions from a software perspective 
  • Participating in process studies or pre-sales process of responding to RFI, RFPs and proposals 
  • Leading business and technical analysis sessions to support new development efforts to meet current and projected business needs 
  • Quickly understanding the business issues and data challenges of client’s organization and industry 
  • Providing expertise on the systems capabilities/limitations as it relates to business goals 
  • Preparing impact and opportunity assessments regarding the cost/benefit of proposed projects 
  • Aligning stakeholders on business requirements, system requirements, program functions and strategy 
  • Preparing use cases and formal requirements documentation 
  • Driving the implementation of technology and process solutions from concept to completion 
  • Providing analysis and support for the project management, application development, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle 
  • Acting as a liaison between the technology department and other business units
