Summary

Associate Director, Patient & Payer Master Data Management will be responsible for implementing, management, quality, and integrity of patient data across the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of data management principles, healthcare data standards and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement data management strategies, policies, and procedures.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the Patient Master Data Management team to ensure accurate and timely maintenance of patient data.
  • Includes accountability for operations, implementation of roadmap development and ensuring needs of all IDS sleeves from patient mastering are met
  • Implement data management policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Oversee the integration of patient data from multiple sources and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and report on data quality metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in health information management, Data Science, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • 10-12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on patient data management in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
  • 5+ years of people management experience. Proven track record of enabling data-driven decision-making at a senior leadership level, including addressing complex business challenges.
  • Strong analytical background, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and aligning them with business priorities to drive impactful results
