Associate, eCommerce Merchandising

The ECommerce Merchandising Associate is responsible for helping execute the GiantEagle.com merchandising strategies. He/she will partner with cross functional team to ensure the eCommerce experiences appropriately communicates key messages and highlights relevant product with accurate product information to facilitate product browsing and drive conversion. You will be responsible for supporting the implementation, setup and execution of our digital channels as well as marketing content web updates and optimization. Responsible for merchandising products on site and creating a great shopping experience for GiantEagle.com visitors.

Essential Responsibilities

• Merchandise products, create categories and manage facets and product attributes to facilitate product browsing and optimize conversion rate
• Manage catalog updates and product set-up process
• Support on site search and search merchandising
• Assist the eCommerce Merchandising Manager with analysis and merchandising activities
• Respond to, troubleshoot and resolve data issues when flow has been interrupted?
• Liaise with US partners and vendors for key process activities
• Maintain documentation of best practices for all processes
• Ensure all tasks and projects are delivered within timelines flawlessly
• Continually look for process improvement on workflows and designs?
• Convert vendor item data to align with company strategies/initiatives and system requirements

Essential Technologies

• Bachelors degree
• 1 year Experience required with 1 or more years of eCommerce experience preferred
• Retail or consumer products experience preferred
• Online merchandising experience, preferably in a directto-consumer environment a plus
• Good communication & multi-tasking skills
• Detail oriented & willing to learn
• Great team player & collaborative
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
• Microsoft Office Teams?
