Client International is looking for an experienced QAD Developer. You will be required to translate user’s requirements with preferably non-intrusive programming.
Roles and responsibilities:
Contribute towards project success by implementing, customizing and maintaining QAD-related functionality with standard QAD or (if justifiable) through developing customizationsExperience of working closely with functional leaders at Operational Level.Can collaborate and work closely with QAD and/or other areas/teams.Train, Guide, mentor and collaborate with Jrs. get them onboard.Contribute in Business process change or optimizationEnsure quality and documentation around the projects that get handed over to support Skills / Experience:
10 to 18 yrs of overall experience with minimum of 8 years into programming and development on QAD (and Mfg/Pro).Hands-on experience with non-intrusive programming viz. ICT.Knowledge of skills like EDI, Qxtend, Excelerator, QRF, Maintenance, Inquiry, Browse etc is ideal.Min 3 yrs experience leading, mentoring, guiding the team.Exposure to integration projects.A broad range of QAD knowledge with decent know how about areas like Supply chain, Sales & Distribution, Finance.Hands-on experience with QAD Enterprise Edition (QAD EE).Hands-on experience with QAD EE development using tools like QRFGood knowledge of QAD product to configure/setup catering to business needs.An analytical approach to problem solving.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additional skills:
A strong let’s-do-it attitudeExperience in healthcare domain or Supply Chain business.Pro-active attitude and proposing improvements where applicableLikes working independently on multiple assignments simultaneouslyAbility to collaborate and coordinate with QAD development and/or technical team.Basic Progress OpenEdge programming skills.Experience with Scrum or Agile way of working.
