Associate Manager – Partnerships | MAF RETAIL | India
Role Purpose:
The Associate Manager – Partnerships supports the development and execution of strategic alliances to enhance brand visibility and contribute to revenue growth. This role focuses on assisting in identifying potential partners, coordinating collaborations, and ensuring partnerships align with the company’s objectives.
Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Business Development/ Partnerships:
- Assist in identifying and coordinating partnerships with banks, telecommunication companies, and commercial entities to support demand generation.
- Support the execution of medium-scale campaigns across multiple markets.
- Prepare proposals and assist in finalizing options and commercials to contribute to revenue uplift during key periods.
- Conduct basic data analysis to assess partnership opportunities and provide recommendations to the Manager.
- Maintain relationships with existing partners, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for collaboration under the guidance of the Manager.
Campaign Execution:
- Support the execution of campaigns across multiple markets by coordinating with external stakeholders, including financial partners and vendors.
- Ensure alignment with brand guidelines and assist in obtaining necessary approvals for campaign materials.
- Track campaign plans and timelines, ensuring deliverables are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Brand, Corporate Communications, Legal, and local markets to ensure smooth execution.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating campaign performance against set KPIs.
Performance Measurement & Improvement
- Monitor partner marketing activities as per the communication plan and provide updates to the Manager.
- Organize and maintain marketing assets in a central library.
- Assist in preparing campaign performance reports for local country management teams.
- Conduct basic research on competitor actions and suggest areas for improvement.

- Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work
- Apply and follow MAFR’s Human Capital corporate policies and relevant procedures and instructions.
Definition of Success
- Measured by KPIs against targets (e.g., revenue from partnerships, campaign performance, new customer acquisition, and cost of customer acquisition).
Personal Characteristics and Required Background:
Minimum Qualifications/ Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.
Minimum Experience
3-4 years of experience in marketing/partnerships, with a focus on campaign coordination or project support.
Skills
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines effectively.
- Collaborative and proactive problem solver with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI is a plus.
- Strong English language skills (Speaking, Reading, and Writing);
