Overview

The Perth office is seeking an Associate to join its Investor State Litigation & Dispute Resolution team. The successful candidate will support clients in complex cross-border disputes with a focus on investor-state arbitration and related litigation matters. The role requires experience in international commercial arbitration, investor-State arbitration and public international law. The successful candidate will have acted in international arbitrations under the ICSID and ICC arbitration rules.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on investor-state disputes, including matters under bilateral and multilateral investment treaties.
• Represent clients in international arbitration proceedings (ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC and other forums).
• Draft legal submissions, witness statements and expert reports.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on international investment law, treaty interpretation and procedural issues.
