Associate Power Systems Engineer (remote option)

Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions

Work Setting: Onsite at Juno Beach, FL is preferred, remote candidates will be considered.

Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

Required:

• Experience in renewable and transmission projects;

• Experience in power systems, renewable energy, and transmission planning;

• Experience with industry-standard software tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, and PSLF;

• Experience with power system analysis tools and modeling techniques;

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities:

• Collect engineering drawings and technical datasheets from internal and external sources as inputs for modeling and studies, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information before use;

• Maintain organized records of drawings, specifications, and equipment data to support project documentation;

• Track the status of ongoing studies performed internally and by external consultants, and help provide required information or data inputs to ensure studies progress smoothly and on schedule;

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to technical discussions with guidance from senior engineers;

• Assist in preparing and reviewing basic power flow, voltage, and stability studies under supervision;

• Learn and apply industry-standard software tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, and PSLF;

• Support the creation and validation of models for solar, wind, and battery projects.
