About The Team Our Government Law practice works with Commonwealth agencies of all types and sizes across a variety of sectors. We are expanding and currently looking for someone who can join team of information law specialists who has gained experience in privacy, secrecy, FOI, data sharing and governance, AI, and information access laws. About The Role Our Canberra office is seeking an information and privacy lawyer at Associate level (c. 3-4 years PAE). You will be involved in advising and supporting Australian Government clients to comply with their obligations under applicable privacy and secrecy laws, including the collection and handling of personal information, undertaking Privacy Threshold Assessments (PTA), Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), AI, data sharing and governance, handling complaints, Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) investigations and addressing data breaches.
