Major CA Entertainment Company Los Angeles, CA Onsite/Remote Role: Onsite (Mon-Thurs) Friday Remote Ideal Start Date: 2/1/26 Ideal End Date: 12/18/26 Top Skills/Manager Intake Notes: -Fast paced environments, constantly changing -Animation background or animated series experience or production finance experience, series production, etc. -Coordinator/Analyst level -Processing AP payments, cost reporting -Using pivot tables, formulas etc. -Prior experience in PSL, Wrapbook, Greenslate, etc. any production finance tools Important to Note: -Experience working with external production companies, may be a little bit stakeholder facing (reviewing cost reports, email correspondence, tracking fundings, payroll processing, etc.) Day to Day -Set number of shows they would be assigned to -Knowledge transfer with current person going on leave first month of onboarding Responsibilities Work closely with cross-functional partners, including Content Planning, Production, Business Affairs, Post-Production, Creative, Tax, and Content Accounting, to perform necessary Production Finance functions. Collaborate with Production Accountants, Production Services Companies, and Producers. Process shows funding and talent payments in accordance with deals and schedules. ccounts Payable: Review, verify and process show invoices as needed. Track show fundings/talent payments/invoices and schedules. ssist with supplier and vendor setups. Track budget drafts and notes and perform comparative analysis when required. ssist with data reconciliation for consolidated Production Finance reporting. Prepare and record journal entries in the accounting system. Review and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Ensure production cost reports are submitted on time, and prior to scheduled cost report meetings. ssist with tracking and forecasting development costs. Onboard production services company accounting teams to client policies and procedures. Update show-related information in client systems. ssist with auditing select production accounts payable, journal entry, and payroll records. d hoc projects and analysis as needed. Qualifications / Experience 3 years of experience in a related role Prior experience working on Animated content is preferred but not required. n Assistant Production Accounting background is great, but we are open to individuals with strong financial analysis/modeling experience as well. Must possess a high level of intellectual curiosity with a focus on generating results. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis. Must thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Must be self-motivated, disciplined, highly organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks. Must exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools. degree in accounting or finance is preferred but not required. Interviews will be 2 Video Conference Rounds (30 minutes each)
