About The Team The School of Veterinary Medicine is responsible for the training of veterinary science students and the degree program has received international accreditation. A central part of the training is development of core clinical competencies and as part of this process veterinary science students undertake training in our hospital, clinics, and clinical services. In addition to the training of undergraduate veterinarians, SVM also offers approved residency training programs in several clinical specialties. The Animal Hospital at Murdoch University (TAHMU) is an Australian Small Animal Veterinarians (ASAV)- accredited facility with a robust referral, emergency and primary care caseload across a breadth of companion animal and food animal species.
