Job Description

Participate in the day-to-day administration of corporate insolvency and restructuring engagements, which include (i) liquidation, (ii) receivership, (iii) judicial management, (iv) scheme of arrangement, (v) monitoring / special accountant and (vi) debt restructuring. Responsibilities include (list not exhaustive):

  • Preparing draft letters, notices, emails and reports
  • Securing, indexing and safekeeping of books and records.
  • Taking control of the property and assets of the business, followed by realisation / debt recovery process
  • Information gathering from books / records of clients and third parties
  • Adjudicating creditors' claims
  • Participating in investigatory work to trace assets and assess potential recoveries for creditors
  • Assisting in the financial review and preparation of restructuring proposals
  • Liaising with stakeholders, creditors and other business advisors.
