Title: Associate Service Technician Key Accountabilities: 
  • Assist in the service, troubleshooting, repair and overhaul of engines, propulsion systems and their electronic systems on marine defense vessels
  • Perform all duties in a safe, respectful and organized manner, adhering to all safety guidelines
  • Analyze technical data, asses and plan scope of work to ensure deadlines are met
  • Plan, prepare and request all parts and tools to perform job functions
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Write thorough, detailed reports at job completion and maintain detailed records of daily activities
  • Maintain engine, vessel and equipment logs
  • Commission and operate engines and propulsion systems
  • Provide instruction assistance and demonstrate maintenance, safe operation and shutdown of equipment to customer
