Job Description

The purpose of this role is to create solution architectures for systems and platforms ensuring all relevant options are explored for time, cost and compliance to the company’s standards, policies and practices whilst meeting the business’ requirements. The role will oversee the work of other architects and delivery of the solution for clients both internal and external, shepherding it through the relevant governance.

Key responsibilities:
Creates technical design options based on requirements and the standards, patterns and procedures of the company and recommend the best
Completes detailed technical design documentation including input into the company's standard reference models
Complies with all governance and due diligence applicable to the solution
Responsible for the quality of solutions of lesser experienced Technical Architects under their oversight

Must Have:

  • Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience
  • Strong ( Java, Express, React, Node JS, ) full stack experience using Typescript.
  • Experience in building workflows/services using Snowflake.
  • Experience in leading code reviews.
  • Demonstrate understanding of SOLID principles.
  • Demonstrate understanding of TDD or BDD.
  • Good knowledge and experience of writing good unit tests.
  • Strong implementation design using cloud (AWS, GCP)
  • Microservices architecture, RESTful Webservices, NoSQL & SQL
  • Docker & containerization, CI/CD pipeline design & build
  • Event driven architecture, Kafka.
  • Use of tools such as JIRA, Git, GitHub
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lead discussion and solve problems for the dev team
  • Ability to manage expectations of Product/Business teams in terms of prioritizing quality, aligning to the strategic vision
  • Provide guidance on inline technical documentation
     

    • Good to have:

  • Experience in Azure cloud.
  • Experience in GraphQL tools such as ApolloGraph or Wundergraph.
  • Experience with Serverless.
  • Experience in Terraform/Cloud Formation
  • Tools like Babel, Webpack, NestJS, Jest, Lint, Helm to support build of Node applications.
  • Experience in orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
  • Experience with troubleshooting using Grafana / Loki.
