Job Title: Junior Business Finance Partner Location: Bangalore Department: Finance Reports to: Business Finance Lead / Manager About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Finance Partner to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will support business units with financial insights, performance tracking, and decision support. You will work closely with delivery, sales, and operations teams to drive financial discipline and value creation across the organization. Key Responsibilities Act as a finance point-of-contact for designated business units, supporting performance reviews and driving financial accountability Support the preparation and analysis of monthly/quarterly management reports including revenue, margins, utilization, and cost trends Partner with delivery and sales teams to track financial metrics for ongoing projects (T&M, fixed price, or monthly recurring) Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis at BU/account/project levels Identify cost optimization opportunities and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders Support pricing and deal reviews in coordination with senior finance leadership Help develop dashboards and KPI trackers using Excel, Power BI, or other internal tools Contribute to internal financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies Liaise with shared service teams (AR/AP/Controllership) to resolve issues impacting business unit P&L Prepare materials for internal business reviews and leadership meetings Requirements Required Qualifications Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institute 23 years of relevant experience, preferably in the IT/ITeS industry Big 4 experience or similar consulting exposure will be an added advantage Strong understanding of P&L management, project financials, and commercial constructs in IT services Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Power BI or other analytics tools are a plus Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities Preferred Attributes Exposure to global delivery models, multi-currency contracts, or large enterprise clients Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments Inclination towards automation and improving financial processes through tools Career Path: This role offers exposure to strategic finance partnering and can lead to mid-senior roles in business finance, FP&A, or commercial finance over time.
