We are looking for an ambitious and self driven Assurance Risk Management Managerto join our team. 

  • Proactively identify potential risks within assurance engagements and contribute to effective strategies for risk mitigation and management. 

  • Apply deep technical expertise to address complex risk areas across the assurance engagement lifecycle. 

  • Support assurance engagement teams by consulting with them to ensure comprehensive coverage of all risks, technical, regulatory, and quality considerations, thereby driving consistency and excellence in service delivery. 

  • Liaise with internal firm’s functions as well as with the global PwC network.

  • Whatyoubringmatters

  • 5-8 years or experience in assurance services, ideally within a Big 4 or another large professional services firm. 

  • Experience managing or reviewing assurance engagements across multiple industries or sectors. 

  • Involvement in consulting on technical accounting and auditing issues during engagements. 

  • Strong academic record, including a Bachelor’s / Master's degree from a top-tier university in Economics or Business Administration and completed a recognized professional qualification (i.e., ACCA, IESOEL and ACA). 

  • Excellent business sense and risk awareness. 

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to monitor, track and follow-up performance. 

  • Processdocumentationskills. 

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Familiarity with additional digital technologies (such as Power BI and Alteryx) will be considered an asset. 

  • Be open and adaptable to working in a changing environment. 

  • An excellent team player with the ability to work well with other team members, including sharing and collaborating effectively with others, as well as creating a positive team spirit. 

  • Possessesa high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 

  • Take initiative but keep others informed of progress and escalate issues where appropriate.
