Overview
Serves as an Air Traffic Control Specialist for GCA operations and procedures with potential oversight of assigned ATC specialist. Operates fixed GCA facilities. Provide positive control for arriving rotary and fixed-wing aircraft. Responsible for supervising and supporting the safe operation, movement, and flight procedures of rotary wing aircraft in a training environment.
Responsibilities
+ Train developmental air traffic controllers through OJT training
+ Organize traffic management plans to simultaneous provide positive control for aircraft within the traffic circuit, as well as ground movements and aircraft preparing to enter/exit assigned airspace.
