Job Opportunity: ATE Test Engineer / Semiconductor Test Specialist <p data-path-to-node="3"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="3">Job Location:</b> Bangalore <b data-index-in-node="24" data-path-to-node="3">Work Schedule:</b> 5 days a week (On-site)</p> Budget <ul data-path-to-node="5"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="5,0,0">Salary will be commensurate with experience.</p> </li> </ul> Experience <ul data-path-to-node="7"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,0,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="7,0,0">Minimum 2 years</b> of experience in the semiconductor industry.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,1,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="7,1,0">Mandatory Education:</b> Diploma candidates are required (Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / or related fields).</p> </li> </ul> Preferred Expertise <p data-path-to-node="9">We are looking for candidates with specific exposure to the following areas:</p> <ul data-path-to-node="10"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="10,0,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="10,0,0">Testing Domains:</b> Proven experience in <b data-index-in-node="38" data-path-to-node="10,0,0">Wafer Testing</b> and <b data-index-in-node="56" data-path-to-node="10,0,0">Package Testing</b>.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="10,1,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="10,1,0">Hardware Handling:</b> Hands-on experience with probers and handlers.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="10,2,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="10,2,0">Process Knowledge:</b> Strong understanding of <b data-index-in-node="43" data-path-to-node="10,2,0">ATMP</b> (Assembly, Test, and Packaging) processes.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="10,3,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="10,3,0">Lifecycle:</b> Experience with <b data-index-in-node="27" data-path-to-node="10,3,0">EOL</b> (End-of-Line) testing processes.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="10,4,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="10,4,0">Maintenance:</b> Strong background in equipment setup, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.</p> </li> </ul> Key Responsibilities <ul data-path-to-node="12"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="12,0,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="12,0,0">Execution:</b> Perform <b data-index-in-node="19" data-path-to-node="12,0,0">ATE testing</b> for semiconductor devices strictly adhering to defined test plans.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="12,1,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="12,1,0">Development:</b> Develop, debug, and optimize ATE test programs to ensure efficiency.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="12,2,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="12,2,0">Analysis:</b> Analyze test data to identify failures, yield loss, and quality issues.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="12,3,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="12,3,0">Collaboration:</b> Work closely with <b data-index-in-node="33" data-path-to-node="12,3,0">design and product engineering teams</b> to drive test improvements.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="12,4,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="12,4,0">Equipment Management:</b> Ensure calibration, maintenance, and maximum uptime of test equipment.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="12,5,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="12,5,0">Documentation:</b> Prepare and maintain detailed technical reports and test documentation.</p> </li> </ul> Required Skills <ul data-path-to-node="14"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="14,0,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="14,0,0">Platform Proficiency:</b> Hands-on experience with <b data-index-in-node="47" data-path-to-node="14,0,0">ATE platforms</b> such as Teradyne, Advantest, LTX, or equivalent.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="14,1,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="14,1,0">Analytical Mindset:</b> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose hardware and software issues.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="14,2,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="14,2,0">Technical Knowledge:</b> Good understanding of semiconductor device physics and test methodologies.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="14,3,0"><b data-index-in-node="0" data-path-to-node="14,3,0">Automation:</b> Knowledge of scripting/programming for test automation is <b data-index-in-node="70" data-path-to-node="14,3,0">preferred</b> (but not mandatory).</p> </li> </ul>
