Job Description
The Athletic Trainer evaluates and guides individuals in recovering from or preventing athletic-related injuries and illnesses, while supporting optimal physical performance, when applicable during school hours and/or after-hours school related events, according to school district policy and procedures. Their primary focus is on preventing musculoskeletal injuries and promoting upstream care through early intervention strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
+ State Athletic Training licensure, certification and/or registration (All states except CA)
+ Proficiency in therapeutic modalities and rehabilitations techniques
+ Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
+ Must have current CPR certification
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
