The role
Raytheon Australia works closely with the Australian Defence Force as its trusted capability partner to deliver some of the most complex and ground-breaking engineering and technology projects in the country. Right now, we are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking bright and energised Systems Engineer to join our Advanced Training and Test Environment (ATTE) teamIn this role you will contribute to the success of the team supporting Joint Adversarial Training & Testing Services (JATTS) and Air Weapons Ranges (AWRS) programs.The AWRS Program maintains ground based infrastructure across five Air Weapons Ranges to ensure that test and training operations are conducted safely, securely and effectively.The JATTS Program is diversely skilled and responsible for providing real world airborne simulation involving sophisticated EW system training, test, experimentation and evaluation trials, systems certification, radar jamming and deception, communications denial and deception and radar threat simulation to the Royal Australian Air Force, Royal Australian Navy and other Australian Defence assets.Key responsibilities
Support technical integration of system upgrades across the AWRS and JATTS programs.Support verification and validation activities, including acceptance testing.Identify technical risks and implement approved mitigation strategies for system integration.Work collaboratively with subcontractors and stakeholders in executing system implementation plans.Skills, Experience and Qualifications
University Degree in Engineering.Minimum 2 years’ relevant engineering experience preferred.Understanding of systems engineering principles and practices.Experience in requirements analysis and system integration activities is desirable.Experience working with defence or aviation systems.Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security clearance as needed.
