Attorney traineeship

Your mission

During a 9- to 12-month internship at our Bern office, you will gain comprehensive insight into the work of an attorney. By working with different teams, you will acquire valuable experience across various areas of law, with a particular focus on business law.

From the very beginning, you will be actively involved in client matters. Your tasks will include conducting legal research, drafting legal submissions independently, and appearing before courts and authorities. In addition, you will support client advisory work in direct contact with our clients. Further responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts as well as assisting with corporate law matters such as company formations, restructurings, and transactions (M&A).

Your profile

• Master's degree in law, typically with a distinction of magna cum laude or higher
• Ideally, a completed court or administrative internship
• Strong commitment, accuracy, and precision in your work
• Enthusiasm for teamwork as well as for taking on responsibility independently

Availability
All internship positions at our Bern office are fully booked until the end of 2027. Applications for internships starting on 1 January 2028 will be accepted from 1 March 2026 onwards.
