This is a remote position.
The Australian Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations, and supporting the financial operations of a business. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Accounts Payable
- Enter all invoices with 100% accuracy
- Matching payment terms for all payables in purchases register
- Produce weekly payables report and process payments
Accounts Receivable
- Raise invoices and distribute to managers to send to their contact
- File Reconciliation procedures
- Reconcile credit card using Receipt Bank and send queries to Onshore Accountant
- Petty cash reconciliation
Payroll
- Run weekly/fortnightly payroll through Deputy and Xero
