Audio Visual Support Student Worker

Job Summary: The students in this role will serve as support for the Audio-Visual team at ESU with the potential to do up to 20 hours per week of work. The starting pay for the role is $11 an hour but could be more based on your experience.

Job Duties:

  • Performs technical functions related to studio operation for productions in the television studio which includes:
    Audio, including setting up and use of audio boards, microphones, and audio feeds.
  • Assist with camera trolley operation along with the Master control operations.
  • Support the team through the use of Teleprompter operation.
  • Operate and maintain electronic field video productions.
  • Edit videos for the university using Final Cut Pro & Adobe Premiere.
  • Archive all current videos and VHS tapes.
  • Classroom support.
  • Troubleshoot AV issues.
  • Assist with maintaining AV equipment and Inventory.
  • Aid in the installation of AV equipment.
  • Event support with operating audio and lighting during events.
  • Qualifications: 

  • Current ESU Student
  • Ability to lift, pull, carry, or move up to 50 pounds. 
  • Reliable and aptitude to learn the fundaments of audio visual computing.
