Position: Audio Technician

Department: Electrical Department


Key Responsibilities


Audio-Visual Operations:

  • Set up, operate, and manage audio and visual systems for events in various facilities, including Conference Halls, Open Auditoriums, Indoor Auditoriums, COE Meeting Halls, and Chandra Seminar Halls.
  • Ensure high-quality sound, lighting, and multimedia support during events, seminars, conferences, and meetings.
  • Coordinate with event organizers and other departments to meet specific technical requirements for events and presentations.
  • Install and configure new audio-visual equipment, sound systems, and projection setups for both large and small events.
  • Ensure all equipment is fully functional, tested, and prepared before each event.

Inventory & Equipment Management:

  • Maintain an inventory of all audio-visual and electrical equipment, ensuring proper storage, regular testing, and calibration of systems.
  • Manage spare parts and supplies, ensuring that any necessary components are readily available for immediate use or replacement.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure all installations, setups, and maintenance practices follow safety protocols and meet organizational standards.
  • Adhere to all local regulations and safety standards for electrical systems, HVAC maintenance, and audio-visual equipment use.
