Period Close Ownership

• Design and maintain a robust month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close calendar including cut-off dates for journals, reconciliations, provisions, and reviews.
• Drive “soft-close” checkpoints to ensure mid-month readiness for review and early identification of anomalies.
• Monitor close progress frequently;
  escalate & drive bottlenecks to the Finance Controller promptly, ensuring no slippage in key deliverables.
• Consolidate and validate intercompany reconciliation, ensuring Trial Balance integrity monthly & before submission to group consolidation teams.
