Auditor

Overview

Reporting to the respective audit project lead (Senior Auditor, Manager and/or Director/Assistant Director), the Auditor conducts operational, compliance and financial audits of organizational and functional units with minimal supervision. The Auditor also assists senior auditors and external auditors with assigning areas of operational, financial and compliance audits; completes RECAP testing on departmental reviews; completes the Continuous Audit program; and performs other audit-related duties as assigned. In conjunction with the project lead, the Auditor provides professional advice on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control procedures in managing significant operational, financial and compliance risks, as well as prescribed accounting, administrative procedures, and safeguarding of assets and physical and IT security.
