About the Role
We’re looking for a calm, confident, and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join an Additional Resource Provision (ARP) within a warm, inclusive secondary school in North Tyneside. You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team supporting students with autism, helping them thrive both in and out of the classroom.
No two days are the same here. Some moments are challenging, but every one of them matters. You’ll be the steady, reassuring presence that helps students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting pupils with autism across Key Stages 3 and 4 within the ARP
Using tailored strategies to promote communication, focus, and confidence
