We invite you to become part of our team as a skilled Auto Body Prep/Refinish Technician. In this position, you will be entrusted with the precise refinishing necessary to restore each vehicle to its original, pre-accident condition. This hands-on role necessitates a comprehensive understanding of refinishing techniques as well as an acute attention to colour matching.

Responsibilities

• Prepares surfaces by completing vehicle masking, priming, and applying top coats.
• Applies all primers, sealers, basecoats, colour coats, and clear coats using the correct formulations according to the specifications provided by the paint manufacturer.
• Refinishes vehicles in accordance with insurance guidelines and the quality standards set by management.
• Inspects body and prep repairs for any issues that could affect the quality of the refinishing process and advises the production supervisor as necessary.
