Job Description

We are currently seeking an Auto Electrician at our Coppabella Moorvale Joint Venture (CMJV) – Coppabella Mine. Our CMJV mine complex consists of two open-cut mine operations located approximately 140 kilometres southwest of Mackay that produce premium low-volatile pulverized coal (LV-PCI) for export markets.

About the role: 

As an Auto Electrician, you’ll play a vital role on the Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will complete high quality planned and unplanned maintenance of Peabody’s mining equipment. You will also comply with all site and statutory regulations and maintain a strong focus on safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance with site Safety and Health Management system requirements (including risk management, SOP’s, permits, work instructions etc.).
