Install, maintain, repair and identify faults with electrical wiring in vehicles and equipment

Job Statement

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Auto Electrician to join our progressive mobile maintenance team across our operations in Leonora, where the ‘way we work’ is just as important as your trades expertise. You will support preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and unplanned repairs on our Heavy mobile Hitachi, Komatsu, and Caterpillar mining fleet, playing a critical role in driving fleet reliability, safety, and efficiency. A Lifestyle FIFO roster 8 days on 6 days off from Perth to Leonora is on offer.

Key responsibilities also include:

• Ensure that works are performed safely, efficiently and in line with WHS legislation

• Ensure that equipment is maintained to company standards and as per OEM specifications

• Report to the Leading Hand on day-to-day activities, breakdowns and labour requirements

• Promote and maintain a positive safety culture within the team

About You

Collaboration is key! You will be team focused and have the ability to work together with others to resolve day to day challenges, supported by strong technical expertise in modern mining fleets.

You will also have the following:

• Driver’s license

• WA‑recognised Trade Certificate in Auto Electrical

• Established experience in mobile equipment maintenance in mining

• Developed safe operating practices

• Excellent communication and people skills
