Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Design & Drafting

o Create and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.

o Develop intelligent schematic symbols and components with attributes for accurate representation and automation

• Device & Wiring Management

o Configure and manage electrical devices, terminals, and footprints ensuring proper connectivity and mapping.

o Define wire layers, types (single, cable, bus), routing rules, and numbering schemes for projects.

• Standards & Compliance

o Maintain adherence to IEC, JIC, and company-specific standards for electrical design.

o Ensure consistency in project settings, wire layers, and cross-reference styles.

• Automation & Integration

o Utilize AutoCAD Electrical's automation features for wire numbering, component tagging, and error checking.

o Support integration with PLM systems and ensure data integrity across platforms.

• Quality Assurance

o Perform real-time error checks and validate schematic accuracy.

o Update legacy drawings to current standards and maintain project libraries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical 2022 or later.

• Strong understanding of electrical wiring principles and device specifications.

• Experience with schematic symbol creation and intelligent block attributes.

• Familiarity with wire routing, numbering schemes, and panel layout design.

• Knowledge of integration with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter) is a plus.

• Ability to interpret and apply electrical standards and project specifications.

• Working knowledge of automation tools like Rule stream for AutoCAD Electrical.

Hands-on experience in reverse and forward connectivity for wiring
