Automation Controls Engineer (Rockwell/Allen Bradley primarily, some Honeywell and Fanuc) Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Electrical and Automation Design and Procurement Completely understand and be able to troubleshoot existing systems that have automated control systems currently installed. Research and develop for new processes and equipment. Develop written specifications and budgets of new automation tools such as robots, co bots, ASRS and other systems that advance the company automation footprint. Quote and procure all new systems that align with written specifications and budgets with contract reviews, supplier selection, negotiation and ROI of automated systems and controls. Troubleshoot complex automated systems. Buyoff of installed automated systems to the written specifications.
