Job Description

Define, measure, analyze, and improve existing or new manufacturing processes using automation and controls engineering techniques (PLCs, data base management, etc.)
- Design automated manufacturing and testing processes equipment for new product development/introduction, capacity growth, and efficiency improvements
- Robotic cell design, programming, and troubleshooting
- Controls design, PLC programming, and troubleshooting
- Modification and program creation from scratch
- Basic mechanical assembly, Pneumatic assembly, & Electrical wiring
- Assist in the assembly and qualification of automated manufacturing equipment
- Participate project team activities; team may include manufacturing engineering functions only or cross-functionally to include members from product planning, procurement, quality, operations, and suppliers
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve current process issues related to tooling, materials, process, and gages
