Automation Engineer

Our client, a manufacturer of high-quality, high performance and sustainable batteries is currently hiring the Logistic Automation Engineer . The successful candidate will help shape global logistics strategy and lead the design and implementation of a world-class automated operation using AGVs and ASRS.

The Logistic Automation Engineer will:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of ASRS solutions across the UK plant, including specification, design, installation and testing.
• Manage logistics automation suppliers to deliver projects on time and in line with business needs.
• Evaluate RFQs and support supplier selection and nomination processes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure site and building readiness for automation projects
• Contribute to the development of the logistics strategy for future project phases.
