Sidel is looking for an Automation Engineer for Labeler machines, that will report to the Automation manager in Mantova

Your Mission

  • Software development support on: equipment, test bench, new development validation;
  • Manage the development of automation software (PLC standard and safety) until field test and customer support when requested;
  • Respect Guidelines & Rules in software development;
  • Work with a strong relationship with hardware team and HMI team;
  • Perfect understanding of electrical design, HMI design and devices;
  • Experience on electrical assembling;
  • Participate to functional analysis, FMEA;
  • Procure all software technical documents linked to the project;
  • Test all the software following the method defined;
  • To support Supply
    department (internal testing and simulation test benches).

    • Your Profile

  • Master’s Degree/Automation Technical
    educational background;
  • Proficient in MS
    Office, Outlook;
  • PLC/Motion/Hardware/Network/Mechatronic/safety
    skills;
  • B&R &
    Siemens skills (Schneider is an
    advantage);
  • Robot
    (Fanuc);
  • Ability to
    work autonomously;
  • Rigorous,
    dynamic, organized;
  • Proactive,
    strong problem solving;
  • Good
    communication and team working;
  • Project
    management capability is an advantage;
  • SAP knowledge is an
    advantage;
  • Lean methodology
    knowledge is an advantage;
  • Availability
    to travel up to 20% (Sidel, suppliers and customers sites);
  • English & Italian
    written and spoken, French is an advantage.
