Job Description
RED is searching for an automation engineer for their FMCG client in Peterborough UK.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Implement and deploy automation solution updates.
Documentation of automation systems.
Work closely with others within the Automation team to deliver updates and solutions
Carry out testing of solutions and collaborate with other stakeholders to achieve solution acceptance.
Ensure that existing and developed solutions are meeting company standards and processes.
Desired Qualifications/ Skills:5+ years of experience with Rockwell Factory Talk View development and deployment, VBA coding
Knowledge of Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs.
Knowledge of SQL databases advantageous
Experience in Installation and Commissioning, Maintenance and Troubleshooting, FAT and SAT for SCADA projects.
Knowledge of networking topologies (Ethernet, serial, and wireless)
