Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Automation Engineer located in Surat . The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automation workflows to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. Daily tasks include creating and managing workflows using n8n , working extensively with Excel sheets for data transformation and reporting, and integrating systems using API calls and HTTP methods .

The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand automation requirements, troubleshooting workflow issues, optimizing performance, and writing clean, maintainable logic using JavaScript and Python . Staying up to date with automation tools, integration techniques, and best practices is an essential part of this role.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in workflow automation tools, preferably n8n
  • Strong experience working with Excel sheets (data cleaning, transformations, formulas, imports/exports)
  • Medium-level knowledge of software development concepts
  • Hands-on experience with API integrations , REST APIs, and HTTP methods
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and Python for automation logic
  • Ability to understand and debug automation workflows and data flows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with automation best practices and scalable workflow design
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
