Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Automation Engineer located in Surat. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automation workflows to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. Daily tasks include creating and managing workflows using n8n, working extensively with Excel sheets for data transformation and reporting, and integrating systems using API calls and HTTP methods.
The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand automation requirements, troubleshooting workflow issues, optimizing performance, and writing clean, maintainable logic using Java Script and Python. Staying up to date with automation tools, integration techniques, and best practices is an essential part of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in workflow automation tools, preferably n8n
- Strong experience working with Excel sheets (data cleaning, transformations, formulas, imports/exports)
- Medium-level knowledge of software development concepts
- Hands-on experience with API integrations, REST APIs, and HTTP methods
- Working knowledge of Java Script and Python for automation logic
- Ability to understand and debug automation workflows and data flows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with automation best practices and scalable workflow design
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
