Overview

Cpl Life Sciences are looking to recruit an experienced Automation Engineer on behalf of a Biotechnology company, based in the Romandy area. We are looking for candidates with strong hands-on expertise in Syncade MES and DeltaV DCS to join on a contract basis.

This is a hybrid role based in the Romandy area, requiring 3 days per week on site and 2 days remote. The initial contract is for 6 months, with a high likelihood of extension to 18–24 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and optimise Syncade recipes, electronic batch records (eBRs), and logbooks
  • Design and implement DeltaV batch control logic
  • Integrate Syncade MES with DeltaV DCS and related OT/IT systems
  • Execute and document validation activities (URS, FS, DS, FAT, SAT, IOQ)
  • Troubleshoot batch automation and MES execution issues
