Responsibilities

  • Lead the mechanical and electrical assembly of automated equipment.
  • Conduct field wiring and alignment of custom-designed machines.
  • Set up high-precision automated solutions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure quality delivery.
  • Provide troubleshooting for PLCs and other equipment issues.
  • Essential Skills

  • Experience in automation, engineering, and assembly.
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Skill in electro-mechanical machine building.
  • Ability to read SolidWorks prints and electrical schematics.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and panel wiring.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Automated Systems & Robotics, or equivalent preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with power and hand tools, specialized tooling, and mechanics.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well both individually and in teams.
  • Ability to read electrical and pneumatic/hydraulic schematics.
  • Willingness to travel by air or car (estimated 10% .
  • Authorization to work permanently in the United States.
  • Work Environment

    This is an onsite role located on the manufacturing floor of a small start-up company with approximately 50 employees. The company designs, engineers, builds, and installs custom automated machines, primarily serving the medical device and life sciences industry.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $48000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
