Senior Automation Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience to drive our test automation initiatives. This role requires strong technical expertise in Python-based automation and mandatory proficiency in using AI tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain enterprise-grade automation frameworks using Python and pytest
• Develop automated test suites for web applications (Selenium) and RESTful APIs
• Own CI/CD pipeline integration and optimization using Jenkins
• Lead code reviews, establish automation standards, and mentor team members
• Actively use AI coding assistants (Git Hub Copilot, Claude, Chat GPT, etc.) for development,
debugging, and problem-solving
• Drive AI tool adoption within the team and contribute to building an AI-first engineering culture
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of hands-on test automation experience
• Expert-level Python programming skills
• Strong experience with pytest, Selenium, and RESTful API testing
• Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and Jenkins
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
• Proven hands-on experience using AI coding assistants in daily development work (mandatory)
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
Nice to Have:
• Experience with NMS (Network Management Systems) automation
• Docker/containerization experience
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts in testing
• Cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
